Letter Carriers Quilt

 I had a few moments yesterday to walk 

the Quilt Show part 

of Quilt Festival here in Houston.

Sooo many fabulous quilts.

I took A LOT of pictures 

and will share with you as I have time.

 One of my most favorites was

Letter Carriers

 1st Place Ribbon

in Mixed Techniques Category

 So many beautiful and exactly crafted techniques

were used in this quilt.

 Janet wrote:

"A love of basket blocks sparked the idea

to try to create some by weaving bias tape strips.

An additional 26 pieced Basket blocks in the border

are embellished with

26 letter beads.

Prairie Points, hand covered buttons, and

half-Penny circle edging are just a few of

the highlights."
