The Berne House Quilt

 Another stunner
from the IQF Long Beach Show
was the
Berne House Quilt
made by members of the Bernese Quilters
of Berne Switzerland.
One hundred fifty six different blocks
were made separately
and then sewn together.
 One member replicated the famous
a well known land mark in the
city of Berne.
very impressive!
 European homes
have their own
unique form of architecture
and I really enjoyed seeing the
variety in this quilt.
The Berne Quilt was made in 2010 for a big
Exhibition in Switzerland.
Their work, timeless.

Oh I want to live in that quilt. Houses are such happy things! It's a blue ribbon winner in my book.
