Sewing Away

While sewing away with the Mesa group,
we had a few finishes.
 Amanda finished her
This is such a fun quilt
and I love Amanda's choice of
 happy bright colors.
All the strips are raw edges.
As a reminder,
the I Heart London pattern
is from Lizzie B Cre8tive
and can be found on their web site
 Some people
(if their name is Peg)
make the backs of their quilts
as beautiful as the fronts!
I've always admired those
who take the time to do this :)
Peg taught this quilt as a family reunion project.
When the pattern is simple, you can let the fabric combinations
draw your attention.
And I had to show you the fabric Renee was working with.
This is all one piece of Minkee!
I have never seen Minkee quite like this,
with so much texture and pattern.
Renee is making a throw for her husband.
This fabric could really bring out
the wild animal in you.
