Bees Knees May Block

The May block for the Bees Knees Quilting Bee is from the delightful Amy Smart (Diary of A Quilter).
Amy sent us various strips of fabric from her stash and asked that we make a 12 1/2" framed block.

As a little extra surprise, I made 2 for Amy, adding in a few strips of fabric from my own stash.

Amy's inspiration came from this quilt.

Bright, happy fabrics

I especially liked the orange geometric print.

This is month 2 of Bees Knees, and I'm starting to get the hang of what this Bee is all about.
