AQG President's Quilt

Another quilt that really caught my eye
as I quickly scanned the aisles during the AQG Show
was the
AQG President's Quilt
Made by the Betweens Quilt Guild of
Scottsdale, Arizona
 led by Kathe Corolin
Quilted by Jeannie Rogers
Adapted from a free pattern by Anita Shackleford
"The bold, bright colors and expansive white background
are reflective of the influence of the Modern Quilt Movement."
This quilt has everything I love:
Kaffe fabrics
Modern , yet traditional look
and last, but not least
those long rows of wonderful
Flying Geese
Nice job ladies!
Winner of a first place ribbon
in the Group Category

The geese are great and i love the chevron print that links the square blocks together.
