Delightful Quilters Show and Tell

When I was visiting with the Delightful Quilters of Scottsdale, Arizona the other day, I had the opportunity to take a few pictures of their Show and Tell.
Don't you just love to see what other quilters are up to?
What are their styles and taste?
What fabrics are they most drawn to?

This quilt has been made for a son's upcoming wedding.
The festivities sound very exotic. She mentioned how she will hand carry this present with her on the plane to a small island off of Norway.

Wedding season is upon us. This next quilt was also made for a son's upcoming wedding.

This too will make a trip to an exotic island for the ceremony.
(I wonder if these ladies need help carrying anything?)

An original design made with fabrics given as a prize.

Black and White quilts offset with a single color are very popular.

Everyone is trying out the new Twister Tool ruler right now.

This designer said she didn't use the Twister Tool, instead opting to make her own template for the block.

She said the most challenging part was taking the time to lay each block out first before sewing.

I love her use of Japanese fabrics.

A happy Summer quilt.

This quilt will be given to a local charity. The designer said she used up her scraps of batik reds.

Beautiful!

Yes, I agree with Niki--the green/black and white was my favorite too. Altho the batiks draw me in also. Lovely work. the first one-that “to die for” purple is stunning. Congratulations to all the prospective wedding participants.

Those are all wonderful, but I really love the one with all the blues.
