Diva March Show and Tell

The Divas have been busy working away on quilts.
Bev was the first to bring out Show and Tell.

Pattern: Stepping Stones, using the Seminole piecing technique.

Bev also does her own quilting. Beautiful.

Melissa said she has been working off and on this quilt for years and was happy to have a finish.

Pattern: Whirligig

Melissa also wanted me to let you know that her friend Gary Christensen quilted her quilt.
If anyone is looking for a longarmer in the Boise area, make sure to give Gary a call.

Margaret adapted the pattern Perfect 10, to be more like Perfect 12.

I love the fabric line she used: Fun Flowers by Lakehouse.
Margaret also does her own quilting.

For 2011 the Diva's have set a goal that each one will make a pineapple quilt.
It can be from any pattern. The only stipulation is that it needs to be larger than a potholder.
Margaret showed what she has completed so far.

Pinwheels and pineapples. Great combination, and color choices.
Margaret was proud to announce that every piece of fabric came from her stash.

Pat Peters Pineapple quilt is stunning.

I love how the dark background really makes the pineapple pop out.
Pat always does such meticulous work. In fact, tomorrow I will show you parts of the Halloween Baltimore she has been appliqueing.

You are so lucky to be part of a group of such talented ladies. It seems from this post and the previous one that you have lots of fun together. For me, quilting is a solitary endeavor.
