Scrappy Crossroads Block

 I've been taking a little
Blog Nap
the last few days :)
But, you can always catch me on
Instagram under "nedrasorensen"
if you want to see the latest.
I have been working on various quilt projects.
My latest start (notice I didn't say finish)
is a 16- inch
Scrappy Crossroads Block
Free Tutorial by my friend
Lori Holt of Bee In My Bonnet

I'm always looking for ways to use up my scraps
and this was a perfect project
to cut up little bits of left overs
into 2 1/2" X 2 1/2" squares
This is a good time of year to cut up and organize
my scrap bins.
Although, I've barely made a dent :)
For the background fabric
I'm using
Dark Turquoise
by
American Made Brand Cotton Solids
This is my first time to purchase this fabric line
and I'm in love!
It has a high thread count, and is solid to the touch.
50 colors available (I want them all!)
and you can't beat the price at $6.99 a yard.
100% US Grown Premium Upland Cotton
I purchased mine at
where they  have a good variety of colors.
Jeff told me the other day they have 22 more colors
arriving soon.
Yay!

glad to hear you like that fabric I have heard some say they prefer it over Kona Cotton and Bella Solids

That is such a great scrap quilt. The turquoise is wonderful in there.
