Cathy's Quilts

One of the things I love about attending the
Sit and Sew
at 3 Dudes Quilting each Tuesday
is the opportunity to learn from other quilters.
We each come with our own parcel of knowledge
and I have discovered that quilters
by their very nature
are very willing to share what they have gleaned from experience.
Yesterday, Cathy Hawthorn taught me a great technique for adding
a quilt sleeve to the back of a quilt.
Thanks Cathy!
A little Show and Tell from Cathy Hawthorn
who brought two of her quilts that she is in the process of binding.
 Fun Halloween fabrics.
Yes, Halloween will be here before we know it :)
A free motioned spider adds to the theme.
 Square In A Square blocks
An art quilt that Cathy is also in the process of binding.
Cathy does her own machine quilting
and sells many of her pieces.

That looks great. I would not have guessed it to be Halloween fabric until you showed a close up of it.
