Last night at our Nimble Thimbles Quilt Guild, Laura brought her Groovy quilt for Show and Tell.
Modern quilts have really started moving into focus, especially with the new generation of quilters coming along.
Groove can be made in various sizes. Looks like Laura chose to make hers a king.
Takes me back to the 60's and all things retro.
Groove pattern designed by Emily Cier of Carolina Patchworks.
Alyssa from Pile O Fabric is hosting a Totally Groovy Quilt Along including tutorials and tips from various designers on curve piecing.
Participants will have a chance to win some pretty groovy prizes.
Far Out.

I haven't heard the term "groovy" for a long time. :)
Love the Groovy quilt! I still use the word "groovy"....in jest....but I still use it!
I have been eyeing this for a little while now... I think I will jump in one of these days.
That is a really groovy quilt. I noticed some of the clothes this spring have the same retro feel.
It looks great Laura!
That is so impressive. So unique.
