Little Bit of This

Little bit of this going on.

And a little bit of that.
Have you ever noticed that sometimes it feels like it takes almost as long to cut out a simple quilt as it does to sew it?
(especially if it's a scrappy quilt)

Just think of the time spent when we used to cut everything with scissors - before the rotary cutter...

These fabrics look like they will make a great quilt :-) Yes, cutting seems to take forever sometimes......my least favorite part of making a quilt. When I'm to the cutting stage, I just cut small sections at a time, and try to have other quilts to work on too. Not at the cutting stage!

Yup, I've noticed that too! But now you are at the fun part! :-) Have a great day!

It's by far my least favorite part of the process. I just want to get to the fun stuff!

Those look like good colors. I look forward to seeing what you make with them. It's the organization of projects that can be so rewarding as we design and create.

Scrappy quilts have their own beauty. They are very time consuming, but the end result is so worth it.
