So many fun projects to choose from!
I love her clean line designs.
These projects look quite doable.

a crib sheet and accessories, plushies, a play mat, and much more."

 Good News !

Chalk It Up To Christmas Quilt

 I hung out last night
with a pretty large crowd
for a monthly event called
UFO Night
Every time I walk into the store
I see new fun projects up on the wall.
 Chalk It Up To Christmas
Made by Raymond Steeves
Pattern and fabrics by Maw Bell Designs
I love this color pallet for a Christmas quilt
 made out of
Soft, cuddly flannels
 The plaid stop border
really brings all of the colors together.
3 Dudes has a great selection of the flannels
that I had to touch and pet every time I walked by.
 With the pattern hanging nearby.
This was my first time to UFO Night
What a turnout  !
Jeff made a large batch of his amazing homemade lasagna
that he prepared in a big red roasting pan.
While we sewed in the classroom,
the cooking smells were quite intoxicating  :)
These guys know how to host a party!
A really fun evening with the nicest of people.

I was so excited to see that
one of our very own (!)

with her design
Spinning Mills
Congratulations Michelle!
Michelle serves as our current President
of the
Phoenix Modern Quilt Guild
(and does a wonderful job!)
Each participant was given
(6) Fat Eighths

Michael Miller's

and given to the challenge to design
"anything quilted"
The prize:
a Years Worth of Free fabric
from the newest collections
sent in a goody box each month
(can you imagine!)
 On my July 24th post
I wrote about the Show and Tell where we viewed our creations
 in our PHXMQG  group.
If you wold like to see more close ups of Michelle's quilt
you can view them
 Picnic Petals
by Sheri Cifaldi-Morrill of Connecticut
was also a winner.
As was Colleen Molen

Moon At Night

My only request of Michelle is that she bring
her winnings to our guild meetings
each month
so we can
oooh and ahhh
and pet her fabrics.
