During the last year I've worked a little bit here and a little bit there on vintage embroidery blocks.
So relaxing to sit and stitch with some handwork.
Lucky Duck has been placed up on the design wall next to the others.
I think I like his little sailor hat the best.
I now have a total of 18 completed blocks.
I've been taking my time.
No rush.
Eventually these will all be placed together in a quilt for my grandbabies.
This quilt keeps growing in size as I find more vintage embroidery patterns.
Some are just too sweet to be left out.

that's all i'd let MY grandkids do with it!!
They are so cute!!!!! I'll have to take a picture of the blocks I bought on ebay - reminds me of yours!
ooooh, I love them all! I'm sure my Mom embroidered the same designs.
Cute as can be.

What a great collection. Nice work, as always.
I remember seeing these patterns in Mom's pattern drawer. I did quite a bit of this type of embroider on dish towels.
Grandma was a firm believer that ones hands should always be busy. At 84 Mom always has some knitting or crocheting to do while she watches TV. What a great example!
These blocks are so sweet.
You have been very busy! Ditto to all the above comments - CUTE CUTE CUTE!
