Farmer's Wife Set #3

I'm having a great time hangin' out with The Farmer's Wife.
These 6 inch blocks are so fun to make!
With this last set, I now have 18 completed, and I'm getting a little closer to being caught up with the group.
Is there anyone else new to joining the Quilt Along?

#98 Waterwheel
Because of it's originality, this is one of my favorite designs so far. I've never seen a block quite like this one before.

#68 Postage Stamp
I've seen some Postage Stamp quilts where there are no duplicates of the 1" pieces.
I'm quite content to do just one block.

#61 Northern Lights

#88 Star of Hope

As I've been learning to draft my own blocks out on graph paper, I decided to alter this one and make it a little more simple than the original, which contained itty bitty 1" half square triangles.

Using 1 1/2" instead just seemed more practical.

#48 Homeward Bound

#16 Calico Puzzle

#2 Autumn Trails

I was happy to see spaces big enough to do a little fussy cutting!

#111 Wrench

A good old fashioned Wrench that is easy to do, and timeless.

We see this block not only in days gone by, but also used currently in so many quilt patterns.

I laughed when I read that you were quite content to do 1 postage stamp block! I would agree with you! Your blocks look great. How are you enjoying drafting? I went and purchased colored pencils and some graph paper yesterday in case I get inspired.

Thanks for sharing the list with me. I will get on the bubble and get caught up. Love the blocks and the fact that you are using up fabric...that is my quest to use up all my fabric so I can buy more...

you are moving right along. I am not doing it with a group but just when I feel like it and I have (I think) about 15 blocks done. I'm not sure when I will get back to mine.

Your blocks are fantastic! I've joined FW but am so far behind. Have only managed to make a few... Can't wait to see your finished quilt.

I'm itchin' to be stitchin' these, but have not decided what fabric to use. I'd love to get some of the Farmstand like Nicole is using, or maybe Civil War?
