Nimble Thimbles Show and Tell

One of my favorite parts of attending a quilt guild is to see their Show and Tell.
I especially enjoy observing the quilting trends being followed in various parts of the country.
The Nimble Thimbles are a chapter of The Arizona Quilters Guild.
On with the show!

This quilter said she was very happy to have finished a UFO.
Originally, the quilt was to be a present for her son's (now ex) girlfriend.
A lot of teasing came from the audience, who claimed they would be happy to inherit now that it's finished.

All the circles were hand appliqued.

A new quilter nervously showed her Halloween quilt.

She even did the machine quilting herself.

Lots of praise and clapping!

Including a fun spider on the back, too.

A pattern from the Miss Rosie Quilt Co.

Sometimes we just like to make a simple quilt.

Great fabric choice for the back.

Small blocks as presents for a daughter.

And charity quilts that will be donated.

I'm not a huge fan of Halloween 'stuff' but I have to say that Halloween quilt with the spider and the quilted web is just fabulous!

All the other quilts are nice too!
