I've been watching news reports about the
extreme cold across the U.S
caused by the
Polar Vortex
(* a new word for me)
and have felt a little guilty
as we bask in the sunshine
here in Arizona.
Our temperatures have been hovering
near a perfect 70 degrees
and the neighborhood citrus trees
are brimming with
bright colors from
oranges
lemons
and limes
ready to harvest.
Yesterday it was so nice to spend the day
at 3 Dudes
Open Sew Day
I enjoyed watching the progress Vicky
was making as she placed hexagon sections
on the design wall
Pattern: Hexagon Magic II by Lynn Wilson
Fabric line: Sew Stitchy by Aneela Hoey
The bed was decorated
with a new eye catching quilt.
I love the traditional look and colors
of this Triple Irish Chain
made by Jeff Carr
Beautifully quilted!
The new class schedule is now available
And the sign over the guy's office
just makes me laugh.
