"This quilt is truly a labor of love for me to create.
I am a passionate collector of floral fabrics.
I love the way many floral fabrics blend together
and the way they create lost and found edges
around shapes of blocks.
I designed the layout in EQ using a gray scale
to show values.
Once I chose the large floral focus fabrics,
I pulled over 100 different fabrics from
my stash for the quilt.
I pieced each block one at a time,
coordinating the fabrics for that specific block as I went.
This was the first King sized quilt that I machine quilted.
The machine quilting took 80 hours to complete.

What a lovely quilt . I'm sure squares and triangles are the most used in patchwork.

This looks like quarter square triangles, not flying geese. Love all the florals. Stunning quilt and fabric selections.
