Life is, if nothing else, all about change.
I've been writing Cactus Needle for several years, and have loved every minute.
But, I've been involved in a new love that has moved to the forefront in the last few weeks.
I've had a few BIG LEADS in my Family History.
Amazing!
Gripping!
Addictive!
And a little quilting has been going on in between all of the excitement.
I will share with you when I can catch my breath.

I noticed you hadn't been around for awhile - glad it is just a new interest :) My husband went through a time of going through family history and found it very gripping also.
Glad all is well Nedra! I was wondering where you were. Maybe a trip around the world or something!
But this looks very exciting--keep us posted!
And this is why we all need to keep journals.
Genealogy and quilting seem to go hand-in-hand. I've also been working on both. The genealogy research is just as addictive as quilting - and when you have a breakthrough on a mystery! Wonderful.
can't wait to hear Nedra!
Yes, it's wonderful to find information about the past, isn't it! It is so exciting. I did the same a few years ago. I look forward to hearing about what you would like to share. :)
Glad to hear you are ok. Looking forward to hearing about your family.
i love how excited you are about this.
{it's fun to be a tiny part of it, too.}
Exciting! We just found another Mayflower ancestor this week...it's so great to get new leads and make the connections!
That is so exciting Nedra. My mother-in-law's grandparents came from Italy in the 1920's. She knew her grandparents and her great-grandparents' names, but was not able to learn ANYTHING about anyone else in Italy (even after visiting the towns in Italy where they came from) until starting 6 months ago and it has been SO EXCITING. We have loved learning more about these Italian relatives., It is addicting!
Oh Nedra, how wonderful! New and exciting venture is the sprice of life, enjoy and I can't wait to have the grimps of what you do - Best
