I know when these two amazingly creative (and very nice) ladies merge their talents together it's going to be fun.
Such good timing.
The granny square block has been popping up everywhere, and was next on my project list.
I like Lori and Jodi's design even more.
The Great Granny Along features a large 12-inch block.
I sat down at my machine as soon as I could last night and made my first block.

Lori provides a wonderful tutorial over on her blog Bee In My Bonnet.
One of the beauties of this quilt is that you can use your scraps.
*and I'm all about using what I have right now :)
One of the best parts about a Quilt Along is that even though we all live in different states, we can still play together on line.
I miss my girlfriends.
About a year and a half ago both Lori and Jodi met at my house where we spent a week sewing, laughing, and staying up late talking like teenage girls.
Such a blissful week, and one I recall with such fondness when I dip into the "memory bank".
Come join the fun with The Great Granny Along!
