Ina Garten has no formal training, and is self taught through reading American and French cookbooks. She is currently the host of "The Barefoot Contessa" on the Food Network channel.
I love the sound of Ina's voice. So soothing and relaxing. She seems at peace with herself, especially when she is in the kitchen creating. I love to watch people who have passion for their art, and who are really good at what they do.
That would be Ina.

It's true. Ina's voice sounds like her cookies probably taste. Rich and wonderful!!! I might just have to try my hand at making a dozen or two.

My mother, who has dementia, LOVES Ina. After every show, she always asks if Ina can come live next door so she can bring food over. Cracks me up. Of course, it could be a response to my dismal cooking skills.

I too love Ina's show. She is soooooooo soothing and even tho' she cooks high calorie, I find once in awhile I can do her recipes..

Yes yes YES! She is my favorite cook ever:) I watch and record every episode! She just makes the yummiest things and makes it look simple too. I would love to sit down and have dinner - or lunch - or breakfast - with her and Jeffrey!!!
