Last week we had our Dixie Diva June Night Meeting. Because I was doing posts on my Give Away last week, I wasn't able to show you pictures until now.
Margaret has been such a busy bee this last month with making so many quilts that I will feature her Show and Tell on this post and then tomorrow do the other Diva projects.
A "Robot" quilt Margaret made for her grandson. This quilt will stay at her house for when he comes to visit.
Fun backing.
Margaret designed this quilt for her son who is a big "A's " fan.
Go Anaheim Angels!
Margaret calls applique the "A" word (as if it's a nasty word).
We like to tease her. We also think she did a great job on her quilt and design.
More of her finished red work.
Margaret made a skirt for a grand daughter.
This is the first block in a black and white quilt called "Califon by Mark Lapinski.
The pattern is in the July/August 2009 Fons and Porter.
I see more button fabric...
This "Just Can't Cut It" pattern was made especially for the sister of Margaret's DIL.
Do you fit in anywhere on Margaret's family tree? If so, Margaret is so generous you just may get a quilt from her at one point!
I love these fabrics together.
Margaret and Bev both worked with the "In the Beginning" fabric line by Jason Yenter.
Pattern: Modern Grace
Same pattern with left over scraps from previous quilt.
I don't know how Margaret gets it all done, but she does!
*coming tomorrow: Part 2.

Wow! Those are some amazing projects for one gal! I thought I could just sew nonstop all summer but so many things to do! I have posted 3 days of my shop hop--one more to go! Check it out and let me know what you think!
I was just starting to think...buttons...when you said it! Love Margaret's quilts!
Show and tell is sooo much fun!!
The quilts are wonderful! I love the robot quilt and all of the redwork.

I always love to see your Dixie Diva photos. You are such a talented group. What wonderful projects this time!
I love those first two quilts; she's very creative!
That redwork is amazing!
WOW! You girls have certainly been busy. Great work by all. Jenn
Thanks Nedra for all your comments and photos...fun to see myself in "print"! MM
what fun ladies and great projects. I really enjoy seeing the redwork as I'm nuts about embroidering. Haven't tried the redwork yet, but soon...
Mary
A great show and tell Nedra. That b&w fabric for the buttons would be great with a little embroidered design in the middle of each circle before it's put on the button!!!
Wow. I just LOVE that redwork!
I always love Dixie Diva reports. The "hat" on Ricci's head - so funny/cute. You girls are so incredibly talented. Love the show and tell, always.
