Bubbly Babies Quilt Part 2

Today I finished the Bubbly Babies Quilt designed by Annie Unrein.

As a reminder, this is a Texture Magic friendly pattern.

Love that Texture Magic.

The colored squares were all done with Texture Magic.
Babies are very tactile and love anything with texture. I know my soon to be grand daughter will love touching the various blocks.
This was a fun quilt to make and very easy to do.
Now it needs to be sent off to the quilter.

Tomorrow morning I am heading to Long Beach, California with my Dixie Diva group for the International Quilt Festival. We planned this trip together months ago and I'm really excited to be able to go.
I'll keep you posted on the various events and I promise to take a lot of pictures of the fabulous quilts.

I love the fabric you used. I've decided on my fabric and will be working on it tomorrow. Have a great time at the International Quilt Festival. Do you go every year? I'd love to go sometime in the future. I look forward to seeing pictures too!

Intersting to use the Texture Magic on the quilt and then quilt it too. Pretty colors!
I was in Long Beach on the 18th. Now why couldn't they plan that wedding during the quilt show??? :S Have fun and take pictures!!!

I'm working on a couple of projects with the Texture Magic, too, and have a question about quilting the finished project. Will you quilt over the Texture Magic blocks, or just quilt around them? I'll probably experiment with it, but just wondered what your thoughts would be. Thanks.

I love how it turned out. It is neat how different each of our quilts can look with the same fabric. I think the texture looks so neat. I will have to see it in person for sure. Mine is at the quilter's right now, so hopefully it will be done soon. Have a fun safe trip.

Look how that made squares so much more interesting! I had a nightmare type of dream about a mutual friend of ours last night and it was very telling about my state of mind towards this situation. Anyway you were in my dream and you were trying to help me. Thanks always.

I love the look of the Texture Magic! How fun to have your husband help out with the project. I'm definitely going to have to get some and try it myself.

This fabric looks like the line of fabric that my neighbor made. Is is Bate & Tate or something like that? It turned out so cute. Have a fun trip! Hugs
