Baby Quilt

Mr. Cactus and I are heading into Salt Lake for a few days visit. Daughter #3 is attending school at the University of Utah, and we like to see her as often as possible. While there, we also like to visit with other family and friends.

One of my dearest friends just became a grandma for the 4th time. I made a baby quilt to give to her son and daughter- in- law. Our two sons played together for most their growing up years and we have such happy memories of camping together and many other family events.

The quilt is a very simple design, but I think the quilting really "makes the quilt".

I think you should give it to your friend to keep at grandma's house. Come to think of it - they should have showers for grandmothers! We have to start all over again. I am going to suggest that to my family for the October baby day. ;-)

What a fun quilt...the quilting does make it! Did you quilt it...or was it quilted in your area...just wondering!

Cute! I think that's the same pattern of the quilt I love that you gave to Prentice when she was born. I so need to get going on the one I'm doing for Truman. Every night I say I'm going to work on it tomorrow and still it sits.

I love red and white quilts. (I need to make this one too! I know I say that everytime I see something new you've made!) I agree with Nanette...let's have grandma showers! Hugs
