I love the American Jane Patterns by Sandy Klop. Last year my girlfriend Judi and I were in a local quilt store here in St. George and saw "Crisscross", and we decided to make it together. Judi used a lot of the Look And Learn fabric line that Sandy suggested. I started mine out of a Moda fat quarter bundle I had in my stash.
The pattern instructions say "learn how to make a vintage quilt with all the charm of one from Grandma".
Today Judi finished her quilt. I'm so impressed because this quilt is a lot of work, and is large at 96" X 96". Mine is.... ummm... still sitting in pieces on my closet shelf.
Look how beautifully hers turned out.
Seeing Judi's all put together is inspiring me to pull mine out again. I promised her I will finish my Crisscross in 2009.
Look at the wonderful border around the outside.
Judi will be here until Tuesday and I'm looking forward to seeing all the other projects she will be working on. I'm still plugging away on my Fun and Done baby quilt.

That is really stunning! I can't imagine the patience it takes to make something like that, but what a beautiful heirloom Judi has made!

I'm glad you posted this, Nedra. I love Sandy Klop too! (Although I don't see myself attempting this one anytime soon.) :) It is fabulous! Can't wait to see yours too. Your other recent finishes look great too!
That is really an amazing and beautiful quilt...I don't know if I would have the patience!
