Saturday night's game was especially challenging. Cait's coach is terminally ill with cancer. For their first game he was unable to attend. The girls played really hard, but still lost by 6 points to Dixie State of St. George.
Proud parents Brad and Judi drive the 3 hours from their home to support their daughter for most of her home games. They often stay with us for the weekend. Our husbands like to golf together while Judi and I quilt. This weekend their entire family, including their 4 other children and grandma came to support Cait.
Our hearts are with Coach Hodson, his family and the girls.
Saturday morning was the Dixie Quilt Guild Meeting. Below are quilts from our show and tell:

Family is so important.
The butterfly quilt with the sashiko quilting really caught me eye. Thanks for sharing.
ooooo! I've been seeing pinwheels everywhere lately! I love that one with the nine-patch.. so awesome. And that big circle quilt is truly interesting.
Judi's daughter is a doll. I have basketball girls at my house too. The quilts are all so lovely. I really love Mary's the most though. They are so charming. It is all lovely but really I'm into circles I guess.
