Stir Me Up Potholders

I have barely started crocheting my new Sunburst Granny Squares, and I'm already looking at this Stir Me Up Potholder made by Karin aan de haak.
Not only am I a newbie at crocheting, I've decided I must be a little fickle.

Definition of Fickle: "Marked by an erratic changeableness in affections or attachments."
(hmmm... I have the same problem with making quilts, too.)
The granny squares are still #1 in my heart, and will be worked on first.
But, the potholders are right up there near the top of the list.

I have happily printed the free pattern offered by Ravelry.

But that looks like a nice, quick small project so it should be allowed, lol. I do love granny squares, I have one of those projects in a basket somewhere, I must be fickle too.

I understand! I have the same problem. In Nov. I started my blog with a picture of a new afghan I was working on. Right now I'm working on dish cloths and a different afghan. LOL I'm so glad nobody asked me what happened to the original afghan. My excuse is, I'm finishing up years of quilt UFOs.

It is so cute! I love crochet. I have been wanting to make a few things. Maybe this winter I can steal some yarn from Shelbie. This is really darling and calling me to make one.

Have you seen the finished potholder on my blog or on Flickr?
Have fun! And please let me know when you've made the potholders, I love to see them!
