Slide

If you were a 2 year old, and not quite used to water and swimming yet...

...but the weather was warm, and your Papa had a SLIDE that went into the pool...
...What would you do?
Especially if you knew there was a papa who would catch you every time?

And a 4 year old brother who would show you the way back up the hill again and again.
A brother who would wait for you, and ride down together.

And maybe even teach you how to go down backwards on your tummy.

But always there is a Papa with open arms to catch you, and then lift you back up to the pool edge.

How many time would you run back up that hill?

More times than a papa or grandma would be able to count.

Aahh Nedra, I can see you have been busy (I loved your comment on my blog!). What a gorgeous post, and stunning Grandbabies! And such a wonderful thing to have such patient Grandparents. But you know what....I want to have a go on that slide too! xo

Not fair, Nedra - you know how fragile and sooky I am at the moment - little tears here - blessed children there!

Nedra, great pictures and I know grandbabies can get you tired. Ours are 5, 3, & 1 and I can't hardly move when they leave, but wouldn't change one moment when we are together. Enjoy and have the best of times.
