Valentine Quilts

For our February meeting with the Nimble Thimbles, the members were asked to bring their Valentine Quilts to share for the program.
Isn't that a great idea for a guild activity?

Barb combined quilting with work on her embroidery machine.

Love Birds

Barb's Little Twister Heart

This pattern uses the Little Twister Quilt template.

Appliqued hearts

With a fun pieced border, topped with embroidery stitches.

Remember the loooonnnnggg poinsettia table runner I showed you a few days ago?

Another one by the same maker, this time her table is ready for Valentines Day

With a matching table topper.

This could be for Christmas or Valentines Day.
Do you see the hearts?

Nice job ladies! Thanks again for Show and Tell.

They are all wonderful! The little love birds in the tree are my favorite.

I like how you framed a quilt with twister blocks. I have a bunch of blocks where I put the twister tool upside down and they were all cut in a wrong direction. I may use the frame idea to see if I can salvage the blocks.
