What a response!
I had people e-mailing me for months wanting to know the name and designer of the quilt.
I prodded Judi for information, but life got busy and we never connected with details.
Good news!
While staying in Judi's home, I took pictures and can now tell you the pattern name is
Spring Chickens by Meme's Quilts
The original pattern is a wall hanging and pillow.
Judi re-designed hers to be twin size by adding extra chickens and borders.
Judi opted to machine applique with a button hole stitch.
The flowers and eggs add to the whimsy.
As I've been reading about all the snow and high winds happening across the United States, Spring Chickens just might be the right project to remind us of better weather ahead.

I have enjoyed the quilt pictures from Judi's home on your last couple of posts. They are lovely.
Also, thanks for the comment on the barn I created for my mystery quilt.
Several years ago I bought that pattern because I fell in love with it. Alas, it waits! Judi's is very cute thank you for sharing.
That is so cute. I had one on my blog and had lots of questions about it but didn't know the pattern. Ok if I link here for info?
That is just darling. If I could applique I would make it!!
Such a cute quilt! Love it with the buttonhole stitch. But I think that the chickens might have frozen feet in my neck of the woods.
I just bought this pattern for 50 cents at our guild's quilt retreat - I love the colors in the quilt that you show! Thanks!
I love this pattern. I have it and made a chicken pillow--need to make the quilt though. Judi's quilt is lovely.

This is one of my favorite quilts! And I take the chickens and put them on dish towels too! I love the colors on this one.
I'm not usually a fan of chickens but this one is really cute!

This is so cute! I love that the chickens are all running. I just ordered the pattern. Thanks for the inspiration.
This quilt is so cute. I want to buy the pattern and since Meme's is only 4 hours from my house I see a road trip in the near future. Thanks for sharing this.
