Judi's Valentine Quilts

We've spent the last few days in Northern Utah, attending some business meetings and visiting with our two youngest children.
Our dear friends the Sears invited us to stay in their beautiful home, where we always feel like family.
Judi and I have quilted together for years.
Now that it is February she is currently displaying her Valentine quilts and decor.

This is an original pattern that Judi (Live Well with Judi) and our sweet friend Rae Ann (Cutie Pinwheel) designed together.

I love how they fussy cut Valentines for each center of the blocks.
A great idea for the use of novelty fabrics.

Another Valentine quilt decorates the kitchen table.

Judi said this Bow Tie quilt was made totally from scraps.
Red quilts also work well during Christmas, or any other time of the year.

Wonderful choice for the border fabric using a Winnie The Pooh toile.

Such a cheerful home with red hearts greeting us at the entry.

And roses framed in a shadow box.

But my favorite Valentine idea (other than the quilts) were the two ceramic doves, held together in a bright red bow and suspended from the kitchen chandelier.
Love is in the air.
