Lately I have been noticing an abundance of very cute things that have been crocheted.
So tempting!
Considering I've rarely picked up a crochet hook since high school, and having very limited skills at best, I've tried to resist.
And then a wonderful tutorial comes along that makes the project look so easy, maybe even I could do it!
Look at this cute round potholder by Pip at Meet Me At Mikes. Love the fun colors! I am going to be dusting off my old crochet hooks today because there are several crochet projects now in the lineup.
Pip offers an excellent free tutorial. * note: Pip is Australian. Her "treble" translates into "double crochet" in the USA.
Meet Me At Mikes is a very creative blog. You might want to spend some time perusing.

Very sweet potholder. I have a couple that were made by my husband's aunts and I love them.
OOOooo love that, I can knit but never learned to crochet. Another great blog is Hooked on Needles, Mary Grace has sent me some of her work and she is amazing and a great teacher and so willing to help. See another blog to look at!!
Have fun!
That's really cute. In my 30's, I crocheted everything in sight, making afghans for the children, booties for the ladies in church, dishrags, doilies, you name it. It is a great hobby!!

Way so cute, Nedra! I love this great potholder. Thanks for the heads up. I am going to have to get my yarn and hooks out as well!!!
That looks so cute! I'd love to do that but the most I can do is the basic finger crochet ;p
How fun Nedra, the colors make me happy! Maybe I need to brush up on my crocheting. Mom is a pro. Have a great weekend! I love all the pretty things on your blog.
Aha, you caught the bug. Little projects can be so satisfying.
LOVE it. I'm on a crochet hiatus while tendonitis "heals".
You know I saw the Moda Home new products and they have crochet hotpads (premade of course). I love them. I should have shelbie make me some. The round ones are so incredibly cute.
