Sherri's Quilts

On Friday when Jan and I were at my house sewing, I had two friends drop by:
My friend Sherri (A Quilting Life), and my friend Margaret (Daily Rejoicing) both brought their latest quilts for Show and Tell.

Sherri lives in Logandale, Nevada about an hours drive from St. George, but she came this way to pick up two of her quilts that had just been completed by Judi of Green Fairy Quilts. (Judi lives just a few blocks from my house).

Sherri and Judi both do amazing work, and I was so happy to see what the two of them together would come up with.

Sherri did the embroidery work and piecing, and Judi did the longarm quilting.
Sherri sews a lot of the samples for Fig Tree quilts, plus she chairs the online Schnibbles Club. Talented lady!

Jan admiring Sherri's work.

This is a row quilt Sherri made several years ago, and just now had quilted.
The class was taught by Cory Alender at Scrap Apple Quilts.

This is a beautiful quilt in and of itself, but the quilting done by Judi makes it even more spectacular.

This cactus pot was one of my favorite parts.

And I love the wood designs on the fence posts.

Thanks Sherri for letting me see your beautiful quilts!

Judi's quilting is a work of art! Thanks so much for letting me visit a little...I ended up running into one of your friends at Quilted Works later in the day! Oh, and I was able to buy the quilt book at Joann's!

Hi Nedra,
It's so good to catch up on your blog. Love seeing what all you ladies get into when you get together. Sherri's quilts are gorgeous and Judi's quilting I don't think you can find better.
I hope you and the family have been doing well and will be back soon.
Keep Stitchen'
