Covered Button Pillow

I've been known to have "a thing" for covered buttons. Well, some might call it an illness.
OK- when you come right down to it, I might need counseling at one point in my life.

Imagine me swooning when I walked into Pier 1 Imports and saw this pillow.
Be still my heart.
And it comes in two color ways: Vintage and Sand.
This is what Pier 1 has to say about their pillow:
"Buttoned up, yes. But this super-colorful accent pillow is still super-fun. In fact, covered with 144 vibrant buttons, it's the life of the party. Show it off when you don't mind sharing the limelight."
144 buttons? I think I can manage that.
Guess who just got another order from coverbuttons.com?

They even offer this new template that helps you fussy cut your fabrics.

What a great pillow. It is so Nedra. So are you going to make your own for sure? I hope so because I can't wait to see it.

What a fun way to show off favorite fabrics and use up scraps. I may need to wait until my kids move out until I try this one. I'm still under the illusion that I'll have more time then ; )

Nedra ~ These pillows are to die for! I know what you will be showing off in your family room the next time I come down...a Kaffe covered button pillow. Can't wait to see it! I think I might need to make one out of my favorite fabrics for sure.
You're always up to something great!

GREAT pillows!! I am not even a cat fan but that button is ADORABLE!! Soooooooo, are you going to sew the buttons to the pillow once it is done?? Or sew most of them on and turn it and then stuff??

I love that pillow!! So much fun. I am anxiously awaiting your version. However, I see this pillow truly as a decorative pillow. It would not only be hard to rest your head on, but would leave little impressions of buttons all over your cheeks.

Love those pillows! You keep us hanging by not having a picture ready of your pillow! Not fair! Just too cute and very trendy...

I bought the multi-colored covered button pillow at Pier 1 and just love it...and it was HALF PRICE!!! Yeah!!! I didn't even THINK about making my own...now, of course, I'm going to have to because one button pillow is simply not enough!
