Disappearing 9-Patch Swap Blocks

I recently received in the mail my 100 blocks from the Disappearing 9-Patch Swap.

A big thank you to Jane of Jane's Fabric for organizing all of us.

If you want to read more about how the swap worked, you can go to my October 2nd post.

I now have 100 blocks in red and aqua, each one different from the rest.

I love them all. I think it's amazing how we were giving only two colors, and yet we ended up selecting such a variety of fabrics.

I love scrappy quilts, and these looked so nice next to each other.

Jane even sent along an extra little surprise. We received a "color catcher" sheet to make sure none of the reds bleed. How thoughtful Jane! This is the second swap I've done with you, and you really think of every detail.
Jane has already hinted of another swap she will be organizing after the first of the year. If you are interested in joining, you will want to follow her blog closely for more information.

I have no clue how I will be putting my blocks together. This is only one possibility. I will be watching how others are working with their blocks to get some layout ideas.
Any suggestions?

Don't the fabrics all look fabulous. How many quilts will you get out of 100 blocks?

I'm watching too. Even though I didn't join this swap I have 9 patch from the halloween swap I want to do this with. I could kick myself for not joining but I have to remind myself I had a wedding to worry about. Yours looks so fun.

I think the block would look good with all of the little squares together in the middle...

Thank you for all your kind words. I could not believe that with two colors there were so many different fabrics! I cannot wait to see what becomes of the blocks, I am afraid mine will have to wait until after the Holidays! You will always be welcome in any swap I have!
