Here's a big SHOUT OUT! and a reminder that next weekend is the Dixie Quilt Guild's Quilt Show on April 10th and 11th.
This is going to be an awesome show, and if you have any chance of being able to come into St. George, Utah that weekend, I would highly recommend joining us.
More than 200 quilts have been entered for exhibit and judging.
There will be over 30 vendor booths, a boutique, quilt appraisers, a trunk show lecture by a NQA judge, and much much more.
Raffle tickets will be available to win this Opportunity Quilt that we made.
Pat Peters, our guild president will be our featured artist and will provide a display of many of her award winning quilts. If you've followed my blog the last few months I've been documenting the progress as Pat has worked and completed this latest quilt that will be in the show.
We will also have an exhibit featuring Marilyn Badger, winner of numerous national quilting competitions. Marilyn has been featured on HGTV's Simply Quilts, and in more than 50 PBS quilting shows. Marilyn is famous for her long arm skills, and works very closely with Claudia Clark Meyers in their award winning creations.
Tickets are $5 for Adults/ $3 for children for both days. To top it off, your ticket will also get you into a tour of the Superior Threads warehouse on Friday. You will have opportunity to shop and see all the wonderful threads and products Superior offers. You know I work for them, and think they are the most wonderful company. Come see us!
The Quilt Show will be held at the Dixie Convention Center, 1835 S. Convention Center Dr.
Hours will be Friday April 10th: 10am-8pm/ and Saturday April 11th: 10am -5pm.

I can't wait for the show. Just scrambling to get my booth ready. The quilts are absolutely beautiful. I am in awe, I didn't realize how talented Pat Peters is. I can't wait to see the quilts.
I sure wish I could be there but this is the Tartan Ball for the Utah Scots on Sat. and we will be there in our tartans and kilts.
Have a great show and maybe I can buy one of the opportunity quilt tickets! LOL
