Slot Canyon Quilt

 Another wonderful quilt
currently being shown
at Sharlot Hall Museum
 Slot Canyon at Page, Arizona
by Beverly Ann Markham
Prescott, AZ
Beverly wrote that she created this quilt from
a photograph of Antelope Canyon
"I have attempted to render in fabric and capture
the after-effect of centuries of water that
has coursed down it's gorge and shaped
the rocks as we see them
and also capture the effect of
diffused light from above."
"I love the rocks and rock formations
and especially the color changes in the rocks
as the sun moves across the sky."
