Trish's Churn Dash Block

 I love January!
All the chaos of the holidays
are over
and
there is time to get back to
day to day life.
No more rushing from
here to there
and back again.
I actually have a few moments
to think about what I would
 like to do
rather than what
I should do.
And what would I like to do?
Get back to my machine and
quilt
of course :)
 Now that it is January,
it's back to working on blocks
for my fellow
Bees Knees  members
This month, we are making a
 12 " Churn Dash block
for the darling Trish of Notes of Sincerity
Trish sent us some pretty cute fabrics to make her block.
The vintage blues and reds have a Cath Kidston kind of feel.
The pattern Trish chose for us to work from
is known by many names.
To make a 12-inch block she
requested we follow the instructions of
Greek Cross
Notice how different this block looks from a Churn Dash
 using 6 different fabrics
rather than the 2 colors Trish sent us?
I love being part of the Bees Knees
Trish will receive 10 other blocks
made especially for her
by the other members
(hopefully)
very soon.

Gosh, I didn't even realize that it was a Churn Dash! I was wondering why just 2 colors were being used!
