Flag Quilts

Pat Roche and I have something in common. We both moved to Arizona from out of state and joined the Nimble Thimbles Quilt Guild during the last year.
From the moment she held up her first Show and Tell, I knew I wanted to get to know her better.

This month Pat brought two Flag Quilts she recently quilted.
Did you remember that June 14th is Flag Day?

Wow.
Beautiful long-arm quilting.

Her Eagle design is very impressive!
Pat is an award winning quilter, with extensive experience with computer assisted machines.

She has taught Statler classes across the country.

Pat also regularly donates her skills to not-for-profit groups.
I think we are pretty lucky she moved here to the Phoenix area.
I've been invite over to view Pat's studio this Friday, and I can hardly wait!
I'll make sure to take my camera and share pictures of her work with you.
Pat also provides long arm quilting.
If you are interested in having her quilt one of your quilts, you can find more information on her web site
Pat's Just Quilting.

Amazing quilts!
Yes today is Flag Day... It's also my birthday! Growing up on military bases overseas, I always thought they put the flags out just for me :)
