Susann's Retreat

My friend Susann has been in town this last week on a retreat with her sisters and cousins. Fortunately for me, the house they rented is right near my home, and I've been able to run over and say hello a few times.
Susann

This is their 18th year of going away on a retreat together.

Tables have been set up in the family room.
Some like to quilt, others work on digital scrap booking.

Between working on projects the ladies took time for shopping, swimming at the pool, and going to Tuacahn for a play.
Retreats are the best.

I thought you might like to see some of their quilts and projects that have been put together this last week.

It looks like a fun retreat. Thanks for sharing the photos Nedra. I think we bloggers should have a retreat like this one day. Hugs

Ok well I'll have to tell Susan I want the thread catcher, shoes and that hexagon quilt. I wonder if she'll steal them for me?

What great projects the ladies completed - I love the thread catcher and the gorgeous quilts that they made. Those slippers were fun too.
From the photo, it looks like they had a good time together. The share some family good looks too- it would be hard to guess which ones were sisters and which were cousins.
Retreats are fun - especially with people that you are so fond.

Anna
