Protect-n-Store Containers

I have had several people e-mail me asking questions about the storage containers I showed on my post 6/21/10
Many wanted to know the name of the containers and where to find them.
They are called "Protect-n-Store" containers and if you google the name you can find them at many locations.
Personally, I purchased my Protect-n-Store containers at the XpedX store in Salt Lake City, Utah.
XpedX is one of the worlds largest paper distributors/ suppliers and has 230 distribution centers and stores throughout the US, Canada and Mexico.
*you can check to see if there is a store near you, or you can order online HERE.
XpedX lists their containers for $3.29, where other distributors had them for more $$. (example: Quilters Warehouse lists them for $7.29)

I like the 12" X 12" size to store quilting projects, although you can find them in several sizes.
It's nice to pre-cut the supplies, along with the pattern and have your project all ready to go.
The containers are light weight, heavy duty with a snap down lid, and travel well.

Or you can stack them on a shelf at home to keep supplies and projects organized.
I have seen these containers sold at quilt stores where the owners have placed their store labels on the top. (Great source of advertising)
I hope this information helps. If you have any other questions, please feel free to e-mail me.

I've used them for quite some time, and find them at Crafts 2000 for a very low price. I love them for fabric storage, individual projects, and scrapbook paper storage. Love 'em.

I have not seen these before. I use the heavier plastic bins from JoAnne Fabrics. They do cost more. I will check these out - I wonder if they come in 16 x 16 for the bigger applique blocks to lay flat? I will go to the site and see.

Thanks Nedra. I ordered some. Some of our Mesquite ladies are going on a mini retreat to Duck Creek in August. I also loved your idea of pre cutting projects to work on. I am getting excited.
