Judi's Quilts

We are spending a few days with my girlfriend Judi (Live Well With Judi).
We have been quilting buddies for years. I thought you might like to see some of the beautiful quilts she has made and displayed around her home.

Right as you walk through her front door, the railings are lined with beautiful quilts.

We have made several quilts together over the years. This was a block exchange from Judi's quilt group.

Judi has such an art of display.
Quilt Cupboards.

Quilt racks.

Over doors.

And chairs.

I remember making my first Buggy Barn quilt at Judi's house as she brought in a guest teacher. I loved this technique and have now taught several classes myself.

Many quilts we have started together Judi has finished and displayed. My Criss Cross is still a WIP. (work in progress)

This quilt is called Easy As Pie. When we took the class, and were frustrated with the inset seams that wouldn't lay flat Judi nicknamed the quilt "Easy As H-e-double toothpicks". I still laugh every time I look at my quilt.

Tumbler Bows
Pattern by Nanette of Freda's Hive.

Judi also loves to collect antique linens.
I'll share with you just a few.

Such a comfortable home where everyone feels welcome.

MMMM love that tablecloth and "Easy As ____" Hey, Nedra, tell me what you think of Tuachan. I will be in St. Geo, well really Pine Valley next week and am wondering if we should plan to go to Tuachan? Is it worth it? I see there are only 2 different show options...

My house and quilts look so much cuter on your blog! At my house, it all feels pretty average. Thanks for posting and man you are speedy!!

What a fantastic show and tell. I often wish I had a big sweeping staircase to display quilts on.

Judi is very special. As is her home. The crisscross quilt is my absolute favorite. I remember when she brought it to quilt group. I immediately wanted to make one.
