I finally finished the very last of the blocks in the Dixie Diva Block Exchange. This one was a challenge! Lots of bias edges and little itty bitty pieces. Difficult to make it turn out exactly 8 1/2 inches square with all the many parts. I made this one for Verny out of her bright fabrics.
We make 6 blocks of the same pattern.
Next week we will meet and bring all the combined blocks that we have been working on for months. I'm excited to see how all of mine turned out. The next project will be figuring out how to put all of the blocks together in our individual quilts. Each person will be creating their own layout. Should be interesting!

Nedra,
Thank you for your kinds words today on Nanette's blog. I am so pleased that you remember me, because I certainly remember you! I check three blogs every morning and yours is one of them. What a good job you do at it. I hope you'll show all your hooked rugs and wool projects. Hope you'll come with Judi again sometime to the Alpine group. In the meantime, your blog makes me want to travel south for the winter.
Again my thanks, flora
This looks difficult!! It is going to be awesome!
It is so nice to find other "hookers" too. :-) There aren't really very many. But I'm like you.. I've put mine away for a while. Someday we will get them out again.
I think this would be a great "whole" quilt.( Keep all the squares for yourself...don't share!)
p.s. Nedra...you know I luv ya and all..South Utah....what can I say...... I'm fickle.....this week I've decided I want to live in North Utah...you know....in Nanette and Laura's neighborhood!!
Isn't flora a dear. What a sweet comment. Your blocks remind me of my dear janes. Ity bitty pieces! I really am not good with that. But you are!
Did you see that cute quilt next to flora's name on your blog. Oh my gosh that is lovely. I'll have to ask her about that.
And isn't Belinda fun. There are so many lovely people in the quilt world.
