I've loved this quilt from the moment I saw it
and have finally had the time to make one
48" X 66"
The rows are created
Horizontally
with a simple sew and fold technique.
"Ash" Gray Kona for the background
and
Kaffe Fassett scraps for the Geese
Love those Kaffes!
And a matching Kaffe for the binding.
I even placed a sleeve on the back.
Labeled and done.

looks great love those prints against the gray and Pat's quilting is great with this giving the quilt an almost "wavy" appearance
Beautiful! I love gray backgrounds especially with bright happy fabrics.
That is gorgeous and I LOVE the quilting on it.
Love the label on the Day Trip--is that custom made, I would love to have something like that to put on my quilts.
Do you do your own quilting and if you do, do you have a large quilting machine or a regular sewing machine.
