HAL LE LU JAH

There have been many versions of the Hallelujah Chorus on the Internet lately. People bursting into song in the middle of a crowded mall, or airport.
They make me weep, and bring to remembrance the true meaning of Christmas. My favorite You-Tube version was shared by Annie Unrein.

The 5th graders of Quinhagak, and Yup'ik Village, Alaska have captured my heart.

A big thank-you to teacher Jim Barthelman who spent 10 hours of filming.

Fabulous! What a wonderful uplifting rendition of that very Christmasy song! Looks like we got a tour of the town too!

What a great time they must have had doing that and had a chance to listen to the music while they did it. Good job and pat on the back to their teacher.

I just LOVE real Christmas music and we have it playing constantly here. We never get tired of it here and are sad when Christmas is over.

Have a wonderful Christmas, my friend.

Hugs,
Lois

I love this! Alaska is my new home state. We moved here a year ago after living in St. George for 25 years. We miss the sun the most! We understand you have had little of it lately.
