Hip Holidays Finish

One of the benefits of working on a store sample is that the machine quilting gets done right away.

Hip Holidays (57" X 70") is now finished, binding and all, and is ready to be displayed at Quilted Works in St. George, Utah.

Quilted Works has their own long arm service. They use a computerized system that stitches an all over design.

I chose "Irene's Swirls" which I thought looked like the ribbons on a Christmas package.

If you are interested in Hip Holidays, Quilted Works has kits available for $84.99 plus shipping.
*The kits include all the fabrics to make the front of the quilt, including the binding and the pattern.
You may call them at (435) 674-2500
And, if you are interested in their quilting service, their turn around is only about 2-3 weeks.

I agree with Dolores. This has has a fresh, new look. I've sewn some shop samples, too. It's fun. Do you get to keep it after the shop is finished with it? Different shops have different ways to doing this.

Oh how I love this quilt. Watch out for when Santa comes down the chimney as I think he may pack this quilt up in his bag. Too cute to not take (or make one of your own). Love it!

Was blog surfing and I found ya! Love it! Everywhere I turn lately I'm seeing such beautiful quilts. I've always wanted to learn to make them..... I think it's a sign to get my rear in gear and learn.

Thanks so much for sharing!

It is a great quilt. How fantastic is that going to be hung up on a wall. What other decorations would you need besides that and a tree?
