Lunch With The Ladies

Yesterday I drove into the Salt Lake City area, and met with some of the most talented ladies for lunch.
We have met up through our love of quilting, and all have quilt blogs here in Utah.
I won't say who, but one of these ladies has a fabric line coming out soon, and another has been picked up by a well known publisher for her pattern line.
I am amazed at the talent within this group, and also appreciate the dear friendships we have developed.

Kim (Bitty Bits and Pieces), Lori (Bee In My Bonnet), me, Nanette (Freda's Hive)

Nanette and Raeann (Cutie Pinwheel)

Kim and Lori
Nanette just finished her "Going To Market" quilt from the class she took from Ricci up at Bryce.

The ladies all brought presents. It felt like Christmas!
Lori spoiled us all with a bundle from the new Riley Blake fabrics that have just been released.

Rae Ann hunted the antique stores, and we all recieved a teacup that matched our homes and personalities. (Plus more quilt fabric).

Nanette spoiled us with delicious cupcakes.

Kim has recently started crocheting, and gave us each this cute little pin, plus more fabric.
Boy, did I feel spoiled!

It's not me but I am working on another Moda Bakeshop project. Thanks Nedra for suggesting that we get together for lunch. I always loved hanging out with all my friends and quilters. The pictures all turned out great. Do you mind if I snatch a few of them?

Have fun on your retreat too. You'll love it.

Oh what fun, I will admit I am a little jealous that I could not be with you, or at least at a table next to you, (so I could listen) me listen? no? would I? in a heartbeat!!!

It was fun to get together .... we should do it more often! What a great idea you had to do so.
Next month we will spend even more time together on our retreat...I really can't wait until it's time:o)

What fun. A great group of ladies. I'm sure there was non stop talk and laughter. Love the quilt and love the idea of a tea cup and fabric to suit each home. Friends like that are precious.
