Kayla's Blessing Day

Today our precious little grand daughter Kayla was blessed at church.
Daddy, Noah, Isaak, Kayla and Mommy
She is a fortunate little girl, who has been born into a family that loves her so much.
Kayla is the happiest baby. She smiles for anyone who walks by.
We think she has a halo over her head.
Our daughter Amy is an outstanding mother. We are so proud of her and the family she is raising. She makes great sacrifices in behalf of her children.

And we couldn't ask for a more wonderful son-in-law. Dano is such a good husband to our daughter and a great dad. We feel very fortunate to be together as family.

Love you Kayla!

I made Kayla's blessing dress.

Texture Magic on the yoke.

And sleeves.

My friend Verny helped me with the button holes on the back of the dress.

Annie's new Baby Ensemble pattern wasn't available yet when I made this dress. I used a Butterick pattern and adapted using Texture Magic Conversion Chart.

What beautiful pictures and I love the dress. It's extra special with the texture magic and especially since her grandma made it for her.

I don't know what's better...that sweet little face or the dress or the fact that we get to see her in the dress! So beautiful - both of them! And how fun for you to have them blessed and to be there...the only thing better than a grandbaby is having that grandbaby close by! I loved the quilts from Jill - they are beautiful - but my family would be right there with your family! I can't imagine a scenario where I could get them to quilt!
