Bubbly Babies #2

I just finished my second Bubbly Babies quilt in pink.

Bubbly Babies by Annie Unrein.

I used Texture Magic in 8 of the pink blocks.
Texture Magic adds so much variety to the quilt.

Each block takes on a different texture depending on the stitching used.

On this one I stitched 1" grids.

Notice the difference in the next two blocks. Same fabric, with different stitching.
In the first one I did a stipple stitch.

In the second one I did a 1" grid. See how they take on a completely different look?
They really feel a lot different too.

It's fun to experiment with fabrics and see how they turn out with Texture Magic.

This fabric line is Pillow and Maxfield for Michael Miller.

Both the pattern and the Texture Magic can be ordered through Superior Threads.
Or you can order them directly from Annie at www.byannie.com
Or you can request them through your local quilt shop.
