Belgian Waffles Quilt

Most of the ladies in Steph's Group have made this cute Belgian Waffle design.
They got together a while back, and decided they each would make the same quilt, just in different fabrics.

Peg knows how to do a Wilson right

Belgian Waffles is a Happy Zombie design for Moda Bakeshop, using pre-cut turnovers.
Monica called it a Swanky Turnover.

Peg also brought her latest finish of this cute Quilt As You Go pink baby quilt

She said she drew grid lines down the center of her background fabric, which had already been sandwiched with 3 layers.
The squares are held in place with a dab of glue, and then stitched in straight lines through all layers 1/4" from the edge of each square.

Bind, and then toss in the wash to give the edges that nice frayed look.
Peg said the entire quilt only took her about 2 hours from start to finish.

Amanda knows how to do a Wilson, too!
Bright, happy quilt made for one of her daughter's teachers.
What a nice gift!

And tomorrow I will show you what Stephanie is doing with these.
No, they are not a wedding cake.

The pinks would make such a pretty baby girl blanket. :) When I see all the great quilts in your images, I am always thinking of places where they would look so good. :)
