It has been months since I've worked on my vintage embroidery blocks.
Nice to pull one out again and relax with a little handwork.
The Goldfish and The Kitten
Eventually all of these will be placed in a quilt to be given to my grandchildren.
By the smile on the goldfish's face, I like to imagine that these two are friends, and keep each other entertained throughout the day.
you keep imagining that "friend" scenario between fishie and kittycat, because in the real world? . . . we all know it would have a tragic ending!!!
ReplyDeletei've seen this embroidery up close and personal and you're really, really soooo good at stitching.
{i'd love to see the other blocks that will go with this one.}
{also --- you must love/trust your grandkids more than i do. the quilts i make for mine are much less labor/time intensive!!!!}
So cute, Nedra - can't wait to see all the blocks done and placed into a quilt!!!
ReplyDeletethose are so cute - will be delightful in what ever you decide to make with it.
